Title: The Big Cleaning Day
Once upon a time, in a cozy classroom of Grade 4, there was a special day called "The Big Cleaning Day." The children were excited because they knew they would help make their classroom sparkle and shine.
The teacher, Mrs. Green, gathered all the students together and explained the plan. "Today, we are going to work together to clean our classroom. Each of you will have a job to do, and we will make sure everything is spotless by the end of the day."
The students were divided into teams. Team 1 was responsible for cleaning the desks and chairs, Team 2 for wiping the windows and mirrors, and Team 3 for sweeping the floor and mopping the tiles. Team 4, the smallest team, was in charge of organizing the books and supplies.
Team 1, led by Tom, started by dusting off each desk and chair. They used soft cloths and a special cleaning spray to make sure everything was sparkling clean. Team 2, with Lily as their leader, worked hard to clean the windows, making sure no smudge was left behind. They even polished the mirrors until they shone like new.
Meanwhile, Team 3, led by Jack, swept the floor with a broom and dustpan. They moved the desks and chairs to the side and swept under them, making sure no piece of paper or crumb was left. Then, they mopped the tiles, making the classroom floor look like it had just been installed.
Team 4, led by Emma, focused on the books and supplies. They organized the books on the shelves, making sure they were in alphabetical order. They also sorted the supplies, putting the pens and pencils in one box, the erasers in another, and the rulers in a third.
As the day went on, the classroom began to transform. The air was filled with laughter and chatter as the students worked together. Mrs. Green walked around, checking on each team and offering words of encouragement.
By lunchtime, the Big Cleaning Day was in full swing. The classroom was almost spotless, and the students were proud of their hard work. They took a break to enjoy their lunch together, feeling accomplished and happy.
After lunch, the students returned to their tasks. They finished cleaning the last few spots and checked their work one last time. Mrs. Green was impressed with their dedication and hard work.
Finally, the Big Cleaning Day came to an end. The classroom was now as clean as a new classroom. The students sat down, took a deep breath, and smiled. They had worked together to make their classroom a better place, and they felt a sense of pride and teamwork.
And so, the Big Cleaning Day was a success, and the classroom was ready for a new week of learning and fun. The students knew that with a little teamwork and effort, they could make anything possible.
